Surrounded by scenic countryside, Nyora is on the cusp of lowlands fringing Western Port Bay and the rolling hills of the Strzelecki Ranges.  Look west for level farmlands and east for enchanting hillscapes.  There's space to breathe here.

The town has a couple of shops including a general store, post office, pharmacy and eateries.  There are public toilets located in the Railway Precinct.
