Foster
Rich in Gold Rush history and nestled around Stockyard Creek, Foster offers numerous walking tracks that link the surrounding flora reserves. Take your time exploring the range of shops, eateries and art spaces, or learn about the town's fascinating history in the Foster Museum where the lifestyle of early pioneers is recreated and supported by a fascinating collection of photographs and mementos. The entrance to the museum complex is through the old Post Office building, where the main collection of exhibits is displayed.
Enjoy a picnic on the banks of Stockyard Creek at Pearl Park, or visit the Prom Country Famer's Market on the third Saturday of each month.
The town centre is 1.5km from the trail. It is the main commercial precinct for the coastal communities of Corner Inlet and Wilsons Promontory National Park.
