Welshpool is nestled inland at the foothills of the Strzelecki Ranges and just a short distance from the rugged south eastern coastline and some of the best fishing Australian waters have to offer.  The town is a central point to a large number of natural wonders with the beautiful backdrop of Wilsons Promontory. Agnes Falls and Tarra-Bulga National Park are both just a short drive away.
